Now with Woodbridge Town of the Thurlow Nunn One, former Premier League winger Carlos Edwards has not lost his goal touch.

The one-time Sunderland, Ipswich Town, Luton Town and Wrexham favourite scored twice at the weekend in a 7-0 win over Norwich United Reserves. Along with a penalty, the 39-year-old netted a 40-yard chip to help Woodbridge reach the Thurlow Premier next season.

Edwards was part of the Trinidad and Tobago side that featured in the 2006 FIFA World Cup, as well as the Sunderland team that won promotion to the top flight under Roy Keane.
