Staines Town have announced Cristian Colás has been appointed as the club’s new manager.
Colás has signed a deal to take the helm at the Swans and will be presented at a press conference at Wheatsheaf Park in the coming weeks. Stuart Bimson and Albert Martinez, who worked with Colás previously, are joining his backroom staff.
Colás is a UEFA Pro-licensed coach and comes with a glowing reputation, having been a coach at senior professional level in Spain, Finland and in England with Biggleswade United. UEFA A-licensed coach Bimson joins Colás as his assistant having played and coached in the football league. Albert Martinez who is a UEFA B-licensed coach will be in charge of the performance and rehabilitation side of operations.
Colás says: “I am delighted to become a Swan. There is lots of hard work ahead of us and we will work both on and off the pitch to ensure that we give the maximum to our fans, I can assure them of our commitment to this from the very first day.
“My message to them is that we will need their support so we can enjoy together this exciting journey for the football club.”
