The Bucks kicked off the National League North campaign with a 1-0 win against Southport last weekend and drew 0-0 at Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday.

“We’ve got an expectation of ourselves in that changing room. I’ve said to the players they’ll get some plaudits over this week – but don’t get too excited when things are going well, and don’t get too down when they’re not.

“You’ve got to really keep that equilibrium amongst the group.

“They’re a great group of lads who are really applying themselves at the moment.”
