The Mail report that Ian Evatt does not expect Barrow AFC to be making any more signings this season, barring any major injury problems afflicting the squad.

Blackburn Rovers Under-23 captain Lewis Hardcastle was drafted into the squad at the end of last week on an initial one-month youth loan and made his debut off the bench in the closing stages of the drawn game with Bromley.

The Bluebirds have added under-21 player Sam Stephenson and Tom Dawson to the senior team as well, although manger Evatt does not intend to bring in any other new faces for the rest of the Vanarama National League campaign.

“That will be the end of our recruiting, barring any severe injury problems,” said Evatt.

“We have got a lot of players when everyone is available and fit. We have just got to get them on the pitch.”
