Nuneaton Borough have completed the signing of former Swansea City and Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Kemy Agustien.
The Netherlands Antilles-born Curaçao international played two seasons in the Premier League for Swansea (with a loan at Crystal Palace) before spells with Brighton in the Championship and clubs including Vendsyssel FF in Denmark and Scottish side Hamilton Academical. He told Nuneaton Borough’s club website about what led to him signing for the National League North outfit:
“I know Owain Jones and Curtis Obeng from my time at Swansea City and I’ve heard a lot about what a good coach (boss) Nicky (Eaden) is, so I’m excited to join and looking forward to playing in the United Kingdom again.
“I’m hoping to play my way back into the first team for Curaçao and help them qualify for the CONCACAF Nations League and Gold Cup.”
