Guiseley now face a mammoth task of winning their last five games and hoping other results go their way if they are to stay in the National League after losing 3-1 at Solihull Moors on Saturday.
The defeat means the Lions are 15 points away from safety with 15 points left to play for.
Sean St Ledger said: “It is disappointing to lose. We’ve faced one of the form sides in the league and could have got back to 2-2 then who knows what happens?
“We just have to go again and look ahead to Tuesday’s game against Barrow. We know how important that game is for everyone.”
