Hartlepool United keeper Ryan Catterick has joined Northern League Division One outfit Guisborough Town on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old spent time on loan at The King George V Ground last term and will now link up once more with The Priorymen for the 2019/20 campaign.

Paperwork on the loan deal has now been completed, which means Catterick will also become available for Guisborough’s upcoming pre-season games.

“Ryan is at the age where we need him to get some men’s first-team football under his belt,” explained boss Craig Hignett.

“He can go to Guisborough now, hopefully play a lot of games and really benefit from the experience of being in that environment.”
