Luton Town midfielder Arthur Read has joined Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town on a one-month youth loan.

The 19-year-old joins up with former Town youth coach Joe Deeney’s Tudors side who currently sit 13th after 29 games.

Read has made seven appearances for the Hatters in total since making his debut in November 2016 – all of which have come in the Checkatrade Trophy – scoring once.

Hemel already have a number of names in their team Town supporters will recognise, including on loan defender Frankie Musonda, whilst current youth team striker Connor Tomlinson had a brief spell there earlier on this campaign.

Kavan Cotter and Jack Snelus also play for the Hertfordshire based outfit, having come through the youth ranks at Kenilworth Road.
