The Oakville Blue Devils’ tour of Bermuda this month will be especially vital for Jahquil Hill.

The Bermuda goalkeeper intends to use the tour as a platform to reignite his career at English non-league side Rushall Olympic. Hill has been out of favour at the semi-professional side and has been home since returning from international duty with the senior national squad on a tour of the Caribbean last month.

But he believes that a solid display between the posts for the Gombey Warriors against the visiting Ontario League 1 Champions could be the catalyst to put his club career back on track.

“At the moment Rushall are in good form and the manager doesn’t want to change their system,” Hill told The Royal Gazette. “If the opportunity comes it will be important to impress because it could put me back in good stead at Rushall.”
