Kidderminster Harriers have announced that another of its academy talents has signed a professional contract with the club, after Milan Butterfield penned terms.
The promising 21-year-old has made a big impact on the first team in recent weeks, not least with this industrious showing in the 4-1 win over Chester on Saturday. The former Walsall man has inked an 18-month contract at Aggborough that keeps him with the club until the end of next season.
“I think I’ve been doing very well so far so I just want to keep on doing that,” he told harriers.co.uk. “Being involved with the first team has been a great experience for me and I’ve enjoyed my whole time here.”
“I have just got to keep pushing forward.”
It’s another triumph for the club’s system, with defender Harry Higginson also signing a contract with Harriers earlier this month. Butterfield, who is also a Bermudan International, had began his Harriers career as part of our U23s side, which this season is making great strides towards a league title win.
That team sees players combine full-time training as well as their educational studies, including the popular Foundation Degree programme.
