Lancaster City have been given a timely squad boost with the return of defender Jack Armer on loan from Preston North End until the end of the season.
Armer was a key part of the Dollies squad, making 22 appearances and scoring three goals until his return to Deepdale in December. After being recalled to cover the first team there, notably as a substitute in the West Brom Championship fixture, he has been given permission to rejoin the Dolly Blues, and manager Mark Fell says the timing is perfect.
‘We’re delighted to welcome Jack back. He’s a great asset to have in our team and the lads will see it as a real boost.”
