Paddy McLaughlin has re-joined Vanarama National League North club York City on loan from National League side Hartlepool United for the remainder of the season.
The midfielder joined Pools during the summer of 2018 when he agreed a switch from league rivals Gateshead, where he was an ever-present during the 2017/18 campaign.
A former Newcastle United trainee, he first joined York in June 2011, and he really made a name for himself by twice being on the winning side at Wembley in the FA Trophy and in the National League Promotion Final.
The County Antrim-born McLaughlin was snapped up by Grimsby Town in 2013 and played over 50 times for the Mariners before joining Gateshead in 2015.
McLaughlin, who has been capped ten times by Northern Ireland at under-21 level, is re-united with his former Heed boss S|teve Watson at Bootham Crescent.
