Josh McLeod-Urquhart has left Hampton & Richmond Borough by mutual consent, owing to the logistical implications that travelling a long distance has been causing.
The distance required to travel for the defender combined with work commitments, had made life difficult in the early days of his tenure at Beveree – and the player and manager Gary McCann shook hands on the matter, agreeing to the end of Josh’s time with the club.
“It’s one of those things that happens in non-league football,” said McCann. “It’s a shame it couldn’t work out on this occasion, but we do wish Josh all the best moving forward.”
Moving forward, McCann will be looking to recruit a new defender
