A rebranding exercise at Gloucester City is to see the club using a new badge for next season, as well as switching to a red kit.

The club, battling to remain in the Vanarama National League South at present, will ditch their yellow kit for a red one. It marks a return to the colours they played in up until the 80s.

As for the badge, the current tiger crest is out, with an updated one which includes the city skyline. As well as the cathedral and Gloucester Docks, there is also the Gloucestershire coat of arms and the county motto ‘Prorsum Semper,’ which means ‘ever forward.’
