York City have reiterated that the club currently has ‘no specific move-in date or confirmed fixtures’ for the York Community Stadium.

The National League North leaders are continuing to play at their Bootham Crescent home, with the most recent update from City of York Council signalling a handover will occur early in the New Year. Test events will follow at the stadium, which is to be shared by the club and rugby league side York City Knights.

The club have added ‘that we are pleased with the recent developments regarding the construction of the Community Stadium and look forward to a state-of-the-art facility for the city of York.’
