Bromley’s popular defender Marc-Anthony Okoye has signed a new deal with the club.
Okoye, a summer signing from Braintree, spent his youth with Bromley from the age of 6, where he progressed through the ranks. Having won promotion to the National League with Braintree last season, manager Neil Smith moved quickly to secure his services.
Having swiftly cemented a place in Smith’s side, Okoye has impressed this season, having played a number of roles, but spending most of his time on the pitch at centre-back.
Okoye was delighted to extend his stay and commented: “I’m delighted to get this sorted! Talks have been going on for a while now, but it’s good to finally get it over the line, and I can’t wait to finish the season strongly and get started again next season.”
