Liversedge have announced that Simon Turfrey has joined the club as Chairman.
The club say Turfrey ‘brings a wealth of experience to the role and he will co-ordinate the various footballing activities as the club strives to become an Evo-Stik League club.’ A further development is the creation of two more teams – under-19 and under-23s.
Terry Bates, Dave Haley and Dave Donald have also joined the coaching staff. Ex-Ossett Albion manager Dave Haley will become first-team coach with Dave Donald also working alongside manger Jonathan Rimmington and his assistant Simon Emery. Darren Attwood, last season’s first team coach, is now club secretary.
Turfrey said: “I am happy to be joining Liversedge FC and look forward to working with its committee, football people and volunteers whom have worked tirelessly to keep the club in the position it’s in.”
