Former Brighton & Hove Albion winger Joe Ward has thanked Woking after he completed a move to League One side Peterborough United on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old has joined Posh on a two-and-a-half year deal, with Woking receiving an undisclosed fee. And Ward has taken time to thank Woking for their contribution in getting him back in the Football League, especially management team Anthony Limbrick and Jason Goodliffe.
Ward said: ” I would like to thank everyone at Woking FC, especially Anthony and Jason, for supporting me and pushing me for the period of time I had with them there and helping me achieve my goal of getting back in the Football League.
“I will forever be appreciative and thankful. Great squad, great club, great fans and very well run. Good luck for the future!”
