The Football Association have banned a Kent footballer for 12 matches over his involvement in a mass brawl.
Nigel Neita was one of two Hythe Town players punished following the fighting which broke out after the Cannons’ 2-1 defeat at Faversham Town on Tuesday, February 5.
As many as 40 people were involved in the ugly scenes which erupted after the Bostik South East match at Salters Lane.
Neita’s 12-match ban will take effect at the start of next season and he was also fined £150 after admitting a charge of improper conduct.
Jack Sammoutis, who started for Hythe that night, was handed a six-match ban and fined £100 while Faversham’s Ben Chapman has been suspended for four matches and also fined £100.
