The Southern Football League is due to restart on Saturday 12th December.

The announcement comes after questionnaire answers provided by clubs.

The league say that 59 per cent of its clubs opted to restart the competition on that date, providing the national lockdown is lifted on the planned date of 2nd December.

If there are any clubs wishing to restart on Saturday 5th December, the following midweek, or to play matches on both dates, the league say they would have no objection.

Saturday 8th May remains the planned final date for the 2020/21 campaign.
