Corby Town have re-signed defender Delroy Gordon.

Gordon last played for the club in the 2011/2012 season in the Conference North, becoming a vital member of the team that managed to hold their own despite the turmoil that was happening around the club.

He left at the end of the season to join Conference Premier side Nuneaton Town, and enjoyed a 2.5-year spell at the club before leaving them to join Hereford. Since then, Gordon has appeared for local sides AFC Rushden and Diamonds and Stamford AFC, while most recently turning out for Bedworth United in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central.

The defender will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s home match with Kempston Rovers.
