Grimsby Town have signed defender Ryan Sears.
The 22-year-old joins the Mariners after leaving Shrewsbury Town.
Sears, who signed his first professional deal under current Grimsby boss Paul Hurst, has agreed a one-year contract.
Speaking to his new club’s website, he said: “It feels good to get the deal done after a couple of weeks of being back and forth over the phone with my agent.
“I got my first professional contract with Doigy and the gaffer and I’m grateful for it.
“Obviously, I have worked with them before, and it should be a good year with the players that he is bringing in.”
