Neal Ardley says Notts County’s work has only just begun in their bid to finish in the National League playoff places – but is excited by the challenge.
The Magpies climbed to third place in the table on Tuesday night as they came from behind to beat Aldershot 3-1 with Callum Roberts and a double from Kristian Dennis proving decisive.
It capped off an incredible week for Notts who recorded their third successive league win which has put them in a great position ahead of the run-in.
But boss Ardley is refusing to be carried away and challenged his side to keep their momentum going.
“We’ve got to keep going or we might drop back out of the play-offs,” he said.
“It’s no good being third now and eighth after 46 games.
“We have to get to a points total that the other teams can’t match. Sixty points isn’t going to get you in the playoffs.”
