FC Halifax Town’s Jack Senior feels that an emphatic victory for the Shaymen isn’t too far away.

The left-back was speaking after last night’s 1-1 draw with Notts County in the National League.

Pete Wild’s Halifax rescued a point through Jamie Allen’s stoppage-time goal, which Senior felt was the minimum his team merited.

He told the club’s website: “I’m coming away thinking it is the least we deserve. You look at the chances they have created, yeah they scored a clear-cut chance, it was a sloppy goal to concede.

“From then, we got into some good chances, we hit the woodwork. I think if you look at the performance, we are getting in and around the box well and playing some decent stuff.

“I do not think we are too far off giving a team a hiding.”
