Accrington Stanley’s Mekhi McLeod has extended his loan move at Warrington Town.

The Yellows guaranteed themselves a play-off spot in the Evo-Stik Premier Division last week after beating Shaw Lane 2-1. McLeod, 21, joined Warrington towards the end of March, and has extended his spell at Cantilever Park as the Yellows seek to secure themselves a home play-off semi-final place with two regular season games remaining.

The winger signed for Stanley last summer and has made 15 appearances for the first team this season, scoring in a 4-0 win against Wigan Athletic in the Checkatrade Trophy group stage.
