Anthony Acheampong has left Maidstone United.

The defender departs after a season with the club, having joined from Ebbsfleet United last summer.

He made twenty-five league and cup appearances – the last of which came as a substitute in the goalless draw against Lincoln City last month.

Stones boss Jay Saunders said: “Ach is a top lad and I want to thank him for his contribution this season, he played a big part in keeping us in the league.

“He’s a great character and all the boys will join me in wishing him every success in the future”.
