James Horsfield could have played his last game for Wrexham.
The right-back, on loan from Scunthorpe United, was stretchered off in the closing stages of Saturday’s 1-0 home win against leaders Bromley with what Dean Keates suspects is an anterior cruciate ligament injury and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
“If I am honest it doesn’t look great,” said Keates.
“It is possibly an ACL injury going on the tests with what the physio has done with him.
“We will know more this week when he has a scan but the early signs are it doesn’t look great.”
