Gavin Rose has strengthened his Dulwich Hamlet squad with the arrival of Charlton Athletic youngsters Chris Millar and Louis-Michel Yamfam
Teenage forward Yamfam signed for Charlton from Stevenage in May of this year having spent the final few weeks of the 2015/16 season on trial at the Valley. He featured in the U21s’ last league match of the campaign and played a prominent role in the U18s’ end-of-season play-off games.
He came off the bench in the U18s’ penalty shootout victory against Nottingham Forest in the semi-final, and did likewise in the final against Sheffield United. Possessing quick feet and an electric turn of pace, he provided the assist for Karlan Ahearne-Grant to equalise in the final, with the Addicks going on to be crowned national champions on penalties.
Forward Millar signed his first professional contract with the Addicks in the summer having completed his scholarship with the club. Millar proved prolific in the Under 18s last season, bagging 14 goals in their successful campaign. He also featured for the Under 21s, scoring once for them.
