Charlton Athletic academy graduate Oliver Muldoon has joined Vanarama National League club Braintree Town on an initial 28-day loan deal.
The 22-year-old has been an important part of our development squad over the last few seasons and the move presents him with another opportunity to get some first-team football under his belt.
Muldoon spent the latter part of last season with Dagenham & Redbridge, playing 19 times in League Two. His Daggers debut came away at Everton in the FA Cup and, earlier in 2015/16, he had made his Charlton bow by coming off the bench at Peterborough United in the Capital One Cup.
Prior to that, Muldoon had earned his first taste of senior football on loan at Gillingham in March 2015. The midfielder could go straight into Braintree’s squad for their fixture at Lincoln City on Saturday.
