Gime Toure says there was no dilemma when it came to joining AFC Fylde.
The French forward was announced yesterday as the Coasters’ seventh new signing of the summer, bolstering Dave Challinor’s attack as they look to go one better and earn promotion in this season’s Vanarama National League.
The 24-year-old, who brings added height to Fylde’s frontline options at 6 foot 2, told the club’s website:
“The decision to join was easy, especially after meeting with the manager and having a look around the stadium, which is fantastic.”
Toure spent time on trial with West Bromwich Albion back in 2014/15 and he has been spending a similar period with the Coasters during the current pre-season, impressing enough to earn a short-term deal with the option to extend.
