AFC Fylde have completed the signing of Altrincham striker Jordan Hulme.
The former Salford City player has enjoyed a memorable three years with Alty, winning two promotions with Phil Parkinson’s side and scoring 70 goals. He will not, though, be playing for the club in the National League, as he joins recently relegated Fylde as they look to make an immediate return to the fifth tier.
Alty, who have vowed to make the transfer fee available in full to re-strengthen the squad, explain: “Talks between the clubs have been ongoing for the past few days, and it became increasingly apparent to Alty bosses that, given the scale of the offer, a move would have to be sanctioned.”
Hulme told Fylde’s website: “I’m honestly over the moon. It’s a chance to get back into full-time football and see what I can do when I’m training every day.
“It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to get going.”
