AFC Fylde have made their second summer signing, as defender Kyle Jameson has been snapped up following his release from West Bromwich Albion.

Jameson, 20, has signed on for two years with the Coasters, and joins following the acquisition of Scott Duxbury earlier in the week.

Jameson spent last season on-loan at Ian Evatt’s Barrow, making 25 appearances in his first professional season – and Dave Challinor has sung the praises of his new signing.

“He’s young, with lots of potential – and the big thing with him is he’s a left-sided centre back, which is a position we’ve been looking to bring in for a while.”
