AFC Mansfield goalscorer Ross Duggan has penned a new contract at the Forest Town Arena.

The 25-year-old, who joined from Maltby Main in the summer, has scored 16 goals in 10 competitive appearances for the Bulls, including a sensational five in the 7-0 Emirates FA Cup win against Sleaford Town.

Club Chairman Andy Saunders expressed his “delight” at Duggan’s commitment to the club, adding that the striker has “more than deserved” a new deal despite only joining in the summer.

Duggan will have the opportunity to continue adding to his tally this Saturday when the Bulls host Liversedge in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
