AFC Sudbury boss Mark Morsley has hit out at a ‘minority’ of fans who appear unhappy he is in charge at King’s Marsh Stadium.

Morsley’s ire has been fuelled after a derogatory message was etched into the snow on his car at the end of the game against Potters Bar last weekend. And while happy to be criticised personally, Morsley was left annoyed by the fact the message was aimed at the team’s performance (they lost 0-2).

“There appear a small minority of fans who are possibly not happy that I got the job here and still fail to see the bigger picture of what we are trying to do at the club,” Morsley said.

“I suggest if they don’t like it, they stay away, go and watch their football somewhere else and come back next season when we are pushing for promotion.”

The message, ‘f****** c**p’, was left on Morsley’s windscreen in the snow after Sudbury lost to high-flying Potters Bar. It annoyed the Sudbury boss who took to Twitter to voice his disapproval.

“OK, people are entitled to their opinions, that doesn’t worry me,” he said. “But anyone who knows me, knows I’m open to talk to about all things with this football club, or any football club I have managed.”
