There was news from the AFC Sudbury management team on Thursday evening of a couple new recruits to bolster the squad.
Signed from National League side Concord Rangers is former Norwich City man, striker Jamie Eaton-Collins. The Championship side released the 21 year-old in the summer.
The other signing is another forward Jake Clowsley who has spent the last two seasons with Brightlingsea Regent and recently left there for Stanway Rovers. He started his footballing career with another Essex side FC Clacton before a first spell at Stanway.
Both players will go into the AFC squad to face Aylesbury United in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
