AFC Telford United have completed the signing of Shrewsbury Town forward John McAtee.
The 18-year-old joins the Bucks on a Youth Loan for the rest of the season. McAtee joined Shrewsbury’s scholarship programme from Burnley in 2015.
Capable of playing out wide, in the number 10, or as a number nine, McAtee made his Shrewsbury debut as a late substitute against Oxford United on the final day of the 2016/17 season. He has spent the first half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Halesowen Town, scoring six goals.
