AFC Telford United have completed the loan signing of Yusifu Ceesay from Blackpool on a month’s loan.

Born in Spain, the left-sided attacking midfielder was a key player for non-league side Alvechurch last season, as the club achieved promotion.

The 23-year-old signed a two-year deal with Blackpool in the summer following a successful trial in a pre-season friendly at Nantwich Town.

Ceesay, who has also had a loan spell at Boston this season will join the Bucks on loan until the 1st January.

Manager Gavin Cowan said: “Yusifu comes into our group having good non-league pedigree earning him his move to Blackpool in the summer. He is extremely fast and unorthodox and has a real ambition to prove himself in the game.

“We’re very happy to have him on board.”

Ceesay trained with the squad last night as the Bucks prepared for the visit of Bradford Park Avenue tomorrow.
