AFC Totton have welcomed two new faces into their squad ahead of next weekend’s Evo-Stik Division One South opener at Highworth Town.
Eastleigh apprentice Tom Bearwish has arrived on a dual signing, while 17-year-old Christos Papakonstantinou is a former AFC Bournemouth youngster who studies with the Saints Foundation where he is coached by ex-Stag Mark Gamble.
Bearwish is stepping up a level after netting 11 goals in 22 appearances for Sydenhams Premier outfit Portland United last season.
AFC Totton boss Louis Langdown said: “Both players are young and eager to impress at Southern League level.
“Christos has been with us on trial all pre-season and has shown really good feet. We like his attitude and the kid is full of tricks and flicks. He’s a free spirit and a polite lad who you can’t help but like.
“Our challenge is to work with him and find a position he can be most effective for us.”
