Margate have announced the signing of striker Daniel Akindayini on a one-year deal.
Akindayini spent a month on loan at Hartsdown Park in February when he scored a brace on his debut in the clubs 2-1 victory over Basingstoke Town.
Akindayini played just 45 minutes more for the Blues in the club`s 3-2 away win at Chelmsford City but injury brought a premature end to his loan deal and he returned to parent club Brighton & Hove Albion.
Manager Nikki Bull is delighted to have secured the strikers services at Hartsdown Park for the upcoming season: “Daniel is another top striker that we have added to our already impressive attacking options. Even though his time with us last season was cut short because of injury I have seen enough of him to know he will cause team’s problems this year and score goals for us”.
