Aldershot Town have signed Mohammed Bettamer on a free transfer until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old forward joins The Shots off the back of a frustrating stint at Barnet, where his contract was recently mutually terminated, despite having an impressive goal record before joining the Bees last year.

Bettamer scored six goals in 15 appearances for both his and current Shots manager Danny Searle’s former club Braintree Town and will be looking to continue.

During his time with Staines Town, the former Libya Under-20 international also bagged an impressive 29 goals in all competitions back in the 2017/18 season.
