Aldershot Town have presented Rushmoor Borough Council with proposals for the redevelopment of the entire EBB Stadium, the club’s home since the original formation in 1926.
This would see the potential development of a new stadium, containing both seating and standing areas, that will give the club a long-term home.
Speaking about the proposals, Shahid Azeem, chairman of Aldershot Town, commented: “The announcement today forms the very start of an exciting new era for the club, by transforming the facilities at our Stadium. This vision for the future development of the site will help to create a sustainable future for Aldershot Town FC and support our footballing ambitions.
“We are looking forward to the continued support of our landlord, Rushmoor Borough Council, and I would particularly like to thank David Clifford, the Leader of the Council, and the Cabinet and its officers, for their support to the club and its position within the wider Aldershot community.”
