Aldershot Town have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Alefe Santos, who was last at Yeovil Town in League Two last season.
Born in São Paulo, he moved to England at the age of 12 and played for Stoke City as a schoolboy. He made his break in the Football League at Bristol Rovers at the age of just 17 and made 28 appearances for the Gas before he was signed by Championship club Derby County.
He made just one appearance for the Rams and spent time out on loan at Notts County and Eastleigh before joining Yeovil in 2017.
Santos made a total of 43 appearances for the Glovers and was released at the end of last season following their relegation to the National League.
A pacy winger, Santos is described as a direct player who likes to run at players and deliver crosses and he goes straight into the squad to face Badshot Lea on Saturday.
