A number of new officer appointments were confirmed at the Hanley Town AGM on Thursday evening, with some familiar faces now on board at the club.

John Powell will continue as the club’s Chairman, and John Cotton has been appointed as Vice-Chairman.

“Cotto” is a familiar face around our League, having served on the League Management Committee, as well as holding down a number of roles at Newcastle Town over a period of many years, and more recently was General Manager at Norton United when they won our Premier Division title in 2014.

Also joining the committee is Dennis Vickers, who will take on the role of Secretary.  Again, Dennis is well known to many around our League, having held the same position at Norton United during their period as League members from 2001-2014.

Paul Legge, the club Chairman when Hanley Town joined our league in 2013-14, has returned to the club and will take on the role of General Manager.

A further statement regarding the appointments will be made in due course.
