Altrincham winger Billy Hasler-Cregg’s contract has been cancelled and he has left the club in the hope of securing more first-team football elsewhere.

The 20-year old former Rochdale Academy prospect signed last summer but is now on the look-out for a fresh start after it was agreed his starting opportunities at Alty were likely to remain limited.

He leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the club. The news comes hard on the heels of versatile defender Curtis Obeng’s departure, after he decided he wanted to accept the opportunity of joining Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors.
