Forward Levi Amantchi has left Workington AFC.

The former Chesterfield youngster was only announced as joining the club at the start of this week.

However, manager Danny Grainger has revealed today to BBC Cumbria Sport that he has now decided to take up a trial offer with a higher-division club.

The 19-year-old left Chesterfield earlier this year, having spent time away from the club during the 2019/20 season in loans with Blyth Spartans and Staveley MWFC.

Amantchi debuted for Chesterfield at 17 years of age against Boreham Wood in September 2018, during Martin Allen’s tenure as Spireites boss. He signed his first professional contract a month later.
