FC Halifax Town have announced that midfielder Sam Walker has joined new Vanarama National League North rivals Salford City for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old joined the Shaymen from Curzon Ashton last summer after captaining them to a historic promotion via the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division play-offs.
He made twenty-four appearances for Town last season, scoring 5 goals.
