In an attempt to reignite Tonbridge Angels faltering play off hopes, manager Steve McKimm has signed Vas Karagiannis on loan from Maidstone United until the end of the season.

Explained McKimm: “As far as I’m concerned we are not out of the play off race by any means and I believe signing Vas will bring us the extra goals needed for that final push. He went to Dulwich Hamlet earlier in the season and scored 6 in 12 appearances from wide midfield so he has a goal pedigree.”

Karagiannis, who was a part of the Maidstone promotion winning side from National South to National in 2015/16, will go straight into the squad for tomorrows (01.04.17) vital away match at Hendon in Ryman Premier.

Goalkeeper Jonny Henly will also be with the Angels until the end of the season. His loan spell from Hemel Hempstead has been extended as replacement for the injured Tony di Bernardo.
