Another player has committed to Nuneaton Town for the 2017/18 season with Kristian Scott agreeing a new one-year deal.

“I am delighted that the little magician has signed to stay with us,” said manager, Tommy Wright. “He has been a revelation in midfield alongside Tom Elliott and Billy Daniels.

“His technical ability is of the highest calibre and his all-round game has come on no end over the past few months.

“It was vital that we kept him; he’s a young, gifted footballer and there is even more to come from him.”

Talks are at an advanced stage with a number of potential new signings.

“We’re talking with three strikers, another central midfielder and a centre half at the moment,” revealed Wright. “These discussions are at an advanced stage, so hopefully we’ll have something to announce soon.

“We are getting our business done early this summer; we want players who will buy into what we are trying to achieve and want to be here.”
