Neal Ardley says Notts County are finished in the transfer market as he hailed the club’s owners for their help with recruitment.
The Magpies added defender Richard Brindley and winger Sean Shields to the squad on Thursday with both players in the squad to face Sutton on Saturday.
It completes a remarkable month of business at Meadow Lane where Notts have signed 14 players since a transfer embargo was lifted just days before the season began.
That was a result of new owners Alexander and Christoffer Reedtz immediately settling debts after their purchase of the club from the previous owner Alan Hardy at the end of July.
They have backed Ardley heavily in the transfer market since and with his business now finished, the Notts manager praised their work behind the scenes.
“That’s us done,” he said. “Fourteen signings in four weeks is enough for anybody.”
“My head is going to explode let alone the owners who have sanctioned it all.”
