Last week Arsenal signed Hednesford Town’s Cohen Bramall to a contract, just beating out Crystal Palace for the rights to the budding non-league star.
The 20 year old Bramall primarily plays as a winger, but he has also shown the ability to play at the left back. After the success of other non-league players that made the jump to the big time, Bramall has caught the eye of several Premier League teams.
Bramall who got his start at Hednesford before the 2016 season, had developed a reputation as a budding star while playing for several local amateur clubs such as Kidsgrove Athletic, Alsager Town and Nantwich Town. He was recruited to Hednesford by Coach McDonald and opened the season looking very strong, with some very pretty goals.
Early on, it looked like Crystal Palace, who is sponsored by Mansion Casino, owners of several big online Casino websites, had the inside tract to signing the young star. They brought him in for several workouts and really impressed the coaches with his work ethic and skills. They were all set to enroll him in their under 23 team and groom him for the big time.
But then their London rivals swooped in and quickly added him to their squad.
For Bramall, coming to Arsenal is a dream come true. Being able to train with the first team was an amazing experience. Training with the likes of Ozil, Welbeck and Sanchez was very different to training at Hednesford Town.
Other potential suitors include Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Norwich City, Shrewsbury Town and Plymouth Argyle. So while the final destination is has been decided, we do hope that we will get to see Cohen Bramall playing in the Premier League for Arsenal in the near future.
